Avalanche and Polygon Maintain Weekly Uptrend
On-chain activity regarding trade volume, average trade size, and unique liquidity pools with trades for nearly all the networks Blockpour tracks were on an uptrend this week. However, by the 7th, only Polygon and Avalanche continued the trend as the others dropped off. On the 7th, trade volume and average trade size were up 129% and 107% respectively on Polygon, while Avalanche metrics like trade volume reached a 2-week high of $10.9M and average trade size hit a six-month high of $807.09 on the heels of a $WAVAX price spike.
Check in on the Base
Now that Blockpour has data from the Base network through our integrated node infrastructure, we can show you how activity on the network has been on a downtrend since September 1. Daily volume began the last 7-day period at $112.5M, but has fallen dramatically after a few bounces down to $23.3M as of the 7th. Despite the downtrend, $WETH on Base remained one of the top tokens by DEX volume with roughly 60,000 trades made with the wrapped Ether token on the 7th.
