Blockpour Referral Program Terms & Conditions

1. THE REFERRAL PROGRAM

1.1 These terms and conditions (“Terms“) govern your participation in the user referral program offered and operated by Blockpour Pte. Ltd. (a company incorporated in the Republic of Singapore, defined hereinafter as the “Company”, ”Blockpour”, “we”, or “us”) from time to time (“Referral Program”). By participating in the Referral Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1.2 You must read these terms along with Blockpour’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any other terms we may provide to you or make available on the “Site” (being https://blockpour.com, app.blockpour.com, and all other subdomains operated by us).  These Terms apply in addition to any such Blockpour terms as outlined above.  If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and any of the other Blockpour terms, these Terms will prevail so far as they pertain to the operation of the Referral Program.  

1.3 The dates of the promotion period for the Referral Program (“Promotion Period”) are set out in Paragraph 6.1 of these Terms.  

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Referral Program is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old and have a valid Blockpour account opened in his or her name.

2.2 Employees of Blockpour and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Referral Program.

3. REFERRAL CODES

3.1 To participate in the Referral Program, you must have a unique referral code or referral link generated by Blockpour (“Referral Code” and “Referral Link”).  You can access your Referral Code and/or Referral Link by going to your profile page on the Site, or on the pop-up screen after you have successfully subscribed for our paid premium services.  Such Referral Code and/or Referral Link can be used by a Referee during the Promotion Period for completing a Successful Referral.

3.2 Neither the right to participate in the Referral Program nor eligibility for any Referral Reward may be transferred, exchanged or converted into any other benefit.  Likewise, the Referral Codes and/or Referral Links are unique to you, are non-transferable, and can only be used by the person to whom they are issued.  

3.3 Both you and the Referee must hold a valid Blockpour account in your respective name when we attempt to issue the Referral Rewards, with neither accounts having been suspended or closed or in arrears or default.  For the avoidance of doubt, you will still be eligible to receive the Referral Rewards in the event that you cancel your subscription for Blockpour’s paid premium services and after your subscription expires so long as you hold a valid Blockpour account at the time we attempt to issue the Referral Rewards. 

4. REFERRAL PROGRAM MECHANICS

4.1 In order to earn Referral Rewards, you can refer new users to Blockpour by sharing your Referral Code and/or Referral Link with them.  Following a Successful Referral, both you and your Referee(s) will be eligible for the Referral Rewards, subject to the conditions outlined in these Terms.  

4.2 A “Successful Referral” occurs when all of the following conditions are satisfied during the Promotion Period:

1. you have provided your Referral Code and/or Referral Link to an individual who has never held a Blockpour account in his or her name at any time prior to the opening of his or her Blockpour account (a “Referee”), and he or she applies to open a Blockpour account using your Referral Code and/or Referral Link;
2. Blockpour accepts the Referee’s application to open a Blockpour account; and
3. the Referee has successfully subscribed to any tier of Blockpour’s paid premium services for at least one (1) month.

4.3 A Blockpour user may only participate in the Referral Program as a Referee once, whereas there is no limit as to the amount of time a Blockpour user may refer new users in order to earn the Referral Rewards under these Terms.  In this respect, Blockpour’s records and determination on whether an individual qualifies as a Referee are final and conclusive in case of any discrepancy or dispute.

5. REFERRAL REWARDS

5.1 “Referral Rewards” are rewards given to both you (as the user referring to us a Referee) and the Referee for each Successful Referral in the form of service credit(s) or discounts code(s) that can be used when you and the Referee subscribe for Blockpour’s paid premium services, the amount and timing of distribution of which are determined by Blockpour at its sole discretion.

5.2 The specific Referral Rewards and their respective values will be communicated to you through the Blockpour website or other official channels as we may determine at our sole discretion.

5.3 Referral Rewards are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for any other form of compensation.

5.4 If you are eligible to earn the Referral Rewards in accordance with these Terms, such Referral Rewards will be credited to your Blockpour account on a quarterly basis.  In particular, all undistributed Referral Rewards will be distributed to your Blockpour account on the last day of March, June, September, and December of each calendar year.  

5.5 You can redeem your Referral Rewards by applying them towards eligible purchases on the Site and/or with Blockpour, subject to any additional terms and conditions specified for the use of credits or discounts as prescribed by us from time to time (such as the expiry date of any Referral Rewards).

6. PROMOTION PERIOD

6.1 The Promotion Period for the Referral Program runs from 14 June 2023 to 13 June 2024. 

6.2 Blockpour may change the Promotion Period at any time in its absolute discretion, such as extending or shortening the same or terminating the Referral Program without giving prior notice to you.
